Little Man's Nursery

So, here is the Little Man's new digs. I hope he likes them. He may make his appearance today . . . as I'm 4cm and showing signs of progress.

Anyway, we had fun working on his room. He is very loved already! Most of the things are new. I must give a shout-out to Brian who stained the dresser (which I faithfully used for years). Oh, and Brian deserves another shout-out because really he put everything together. I supervised and organized things :).

Brian chose this verse for the wall. I really like vinyl wall art . . .

Work Baby Shower

Uniquely enough, my coworker and I are only due 1 1/2 weeks apart from each other, so that lent well for a combined baby shower at work. Here are my fellow coworkers in the Operations Dept. to the left . . . Elana is the one expecting (to my left) as is quite obvious. And, Suzanne and Steve are on the right. I really enjoy working with them, and I hope I didn't overload them with too much work while I'm out on maternity leave!

Second Baby Shower

Showers are such a blessing! I am so grateful for all the family and friends that so graciously want to help us prepare for the Little Man! We received so many wonderful (and handmade) things!

My second shower was hosted at the McGuire's home by Krissy (my BFF), my mom, and Mrs. McGuire. It was such a great time! Here is the spread to the left. My mom order the cake from this incredibly bakery (Dingledine's in CampHill, PA). We LOVE their cakes! Isn't this cake simply a masterpiece?!!! It tasted equally as incredible!

We're close folks!

There are many posts that I want to write to catch you all up . . . but, they will have to wait! We've been getting prepared for the Little Man a lot these past few weeks/days. (I really want to post pictures of the nursery).

I just went to the midwife last night . . . (drumroll please) . . . and I'm already 3cm dialated and my cervix is soften! Whoa! I didn't anticipate that yet . . . but, we're excited as can be! We can't wait to meet our little son! We'll see if he "stays in the oven" until his due date . . . or until Brian finishes his finals at school ;). (The picture to the left is me at 36 weeks; I have to take my 38 week picture yet).
